Packaging: Moving beyond plastic.

Unlike our clothes, our packaging is not intended to last long. To minimize the long-term impact of everything that protects our garments, shoes and accessories during their journey to our customers, we make a conscious effort to use recycled or recyclable materials that leave as little trace as possible.

Craft KPIs

01: Reduce the use of plastic and unnecessary packaging or labeling by 35% by 2025

02: All packaging is made of more preferred materials

03: All labels, tags and boxes are made from FSC® certified paper

04: Introduce better alternatives to shoe boxes by 2025

Work towards a significantly reduced use of packaging materials.

Today, plastic is the most common packaging material, thanks to its durability and affordability. Unfortunately, it is made from a finite resource - oil - and is often only intended for single use. To minimize our dependence on non-renewable materials, our plastic policy states that all polybags used for shipping and e-commerce should be made from recycled low-density polyethylene, LDPE. This type of plastic can be recycled again if handled responsibly after use, which is why our packaging aims to encourage consumers to help the material stay in the loop. The policy applies to all suppliers, who are encouraged to switch when old stocks run out.

01 - Purpose

We design for the long term for a simple reason: The longer a product delivers what it promises, the lower its environmental impact.

02 - Design

We design for the long term for a simple reason: The longer a product delivers what it promises, the lower its environmental impact.

03 - Materials

A preferred material should not only be made to last. It should also be traceable and have a verifiable climate footprint.

04 - Production

Responsibly made for the way forward. Since 80% of a garment's environmental impact is generated in the production phase, focusing on the supply chain can yield big results.

05 - Packaging

Going beyond plastic. To minimize the long-term effects of everything that protects our products during their journey to our customers, we are making a conscious effort to transition to more sustainable packaging solutions and materials.

06 - Logistics

Choosing more sustainable paths. Our long-term goal is to minimize greenhouse gas emissions from our daily operations, to achieve the goal of 1.5°C global warming in line with the Paris Agreement.
